KMG Expert Level 1 - Civilian Instructor, Close Protection Instructor

Inspired by Daniel Laruso, I first trained in Karate and Kickboxing, then sought out a system focused primarily on self-defence. I found Krav Maga. I started Krav Maga training with a horizon in sight but found reward and inspiration that propelled me ever onwards and spilled over into all areas of my life. It is now my honour to hold the door open for others to discover the same.

After trying a few different martial arts growing up; Judo, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and later pursuing a very physically active career serving with the British Army Reserves I was always looking for a fighting style which would prepare me mentally and physically for whatever situation I might encounter. 

I think it was inevitable that I would find what I was looking for in Krav Maga; with its principal focus on efficiency and specific training to prepare for real-world scenarios. I remain fully engaged to this day as both a student pursuing Krav Maga training and an instructor delivering Krav Maga classes.
